Maplewood, South Orange plans a free “Equality March and Youth Pride Picnic” on Jun. 2. The march starts at 10:30 a.m. at Ricalton Square and ends at Town Hall. The picnic will follow at 12:30 p.m. at the gazebo, 1688 Springfield Ave. Add to 📅.

Regional news
New Jersey will receive $125 million from Ørsted, an energy supplying firm, as a settlement over the company’s withdrawal from two offshore wind farm projects. The settlement, less than half of the initial sum Gov. Phil Murphy said Ørsted was obligated to pay. The settlement money will fund other wind development and renewable energy programs.
