This is the first in a series of listening sessions our nonprofit local news organization in Bloomfield is hosting this year. And it is among the many virtual gatherings Social Impact Studios is hosting on behalf of the NJ Civic Information Consortium, a first-in-the-nation project established by the State of New Jersey in 2018 to support more informed communities and address the growing problem of news deserts and misinformation.
