Montclair school board hired EisnerAmpe to investigate the district’s $19.6 million budget gap. The gap led to layoffs and a school funding vote. The $19.6 million deficit is attributed to expenses that were not budgeted and unpaid invoices and bills, according to Interim School Business Administrator Dana Sullivan. EisnerAmpe will be paid $250,000.
