South Orange received a $2,000 grant from Sustainable Jersey to construct rain gardens for selected homeowners. Rain gardens will capture rainwater from roofs or driveways that flow onto the street. Interested homeowners can apply for financial assistance online. The application deadline is Jul. 17.
