NJISJ to host “Vote16 Rock the Block Party” Apr. 12

“Vote16 Rock the Block Party” planned with N.J. Institute for Social Justice on Apr. 12 in Newark. It is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Clinton Hill Early Learning Center, 30 Demarest St. There will be guest speakers, live performances, and community resources. The event is designed for Newark youth voters ages 16-17 ahead of the Newark school board election, scheduled on Apr. 15. Registration is required. The Jersey Bee is a co-sponsor of this event.
