Former Bloomfield mayor Michael Venezia is set to be inducted as state assemblyman representing the 34th Legislative District. Venezia, a Democrat, won his seat in the November elections and will represent Belleville, Bloomfield, East Orange, Glen Ridge, Nutley, and Orange. Venezia served as Bloomfield’s mayor from 2014-2023.
