Esney Davis-Sharpe pleaded guilty to providing gynecological services without a medical license at Bessie Mae Women and Family Health Center in East Orange. Davis-Sharpe submitted about 2,500 Meidcaid claims for gynecological services under the names of licensed doctors, according to state authorities. Davis-Sharpe owned and operated the center. It is now closed. Sentencing is scheduled for Oct. 5.
Montclair Local
People can sign up by Sep. 30 to attend the New York Sheep and Wool Festival with Montclair library. The festival is Oct. 17. There will be yarn and fiber vendors, craft booths, and more. Fee is $95 and includes transportation and festival admission.
