Nutley-area adults ages 18+ can attend a blanket-making session at Nutley library on Sep. 12. Blankets will be distributed to babies, children, and youth in hospitals or shelters throughout North Jersey through Project Linus. It is from 2-4 p.m. Attendees must bring their own materials. Registration is not required.

Nutley Family Service Bureau seeks donations of cereal, pasta, canned tuna, canned chicken, and soup. Donations benefit the NFSB food pantry. Items accepted at 169 Chestnut St. weekdays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
