N.J. Launches New SimpleFile Tool for Applying for Child Tax Credits
From New Jersey Division of Taxation.
Eligible New Jersey residents are now able to apply for the state’s refundable Child Tax Credit using the recently launched SimpleFile online system. The free, mobile-friendly platform allows families who are not otherwise required to file a full state tax return to claim up to $1,000 per child age five or younger. Applications are currently available in English and Spanish.
