Eligible New Jersey residents are now able to apply for the state’s refundable Child Tax Credit using the recently launched SimpleFile online system. The free, mobile-friendly platform allows families who are not otherwise required to file a full state tax return to claim up to $1,000 per child age five or younger. Applications are currently available in English and Spanish.
