Bloomfield introduces $110M municipal budget for 2026

Bloomfield introduced its 2026 municipal budget, or spending plan, amounting to about $110 million, with a municipal property tax increase of 12%. The $110 million budget will fund municipal services, like public works, parks and recreation, and health workers. Property owners can expect an average tax cost of approximately $5,307, a year-to-year increase of $584 per homeowner. A public hearing is scheduled for Jul. 28.
