Green bean gomaae cooking class for students in grades K-12 planned at East Orange library on Jul. 6. It is from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Children younger than 10 must be accompanied by an adult. Limited to first 12 attendees. Registration is not required.

Historic warehouse liquidation sale planned with South Orange Downtown on Jul. 6. It is from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at 219 Valley St. There will be furniture, antiques, vintage décor, records, rugs, and more. Free admission.

NJ Transit fares will increase by 3% starting Jul. 1. In 2024, NJ Transit approved a fare policy to balance the agency’s budget. It raised prices by 15% that year, put a 30-day expiration on tickets, and implemented an annual 3% fare increase every Jul. 1 with no end date. A list of all adjusted fares is available online.
