Ironbound Farm Market is set to open in Montclair’s Lackawanna Plaza in spring 2025. It will sell local, sustainably grown meat, produce, and prepared foods. Charles Rosen, founder and CEO of Ironbound Farm, said that the market will operate as a “farm stop” where food is directly sourced from small-scale farmers on a consignment basis to address high labor costs. That allows farmers to set their own prices and receive a large portion of sales. An opening date has not been announced yet.
