Grand opening of Maplewood Memorial Park’s new pathway planned on Nov. 9. Park clean-up begins at 10 a.m. and a ribbon cutting for the new path begins at 11 a.m. at Valley Street and Oakview Avenue. Landscape designer Jennifer Ryan will lead a nature walk through the path at 11:30 a.m. Attendees can view art inspired by the park from 12-2 p.m. at Maplewood Train Station.

Meet-up for local homeschooling families planned by Maplewood library on Nov. 12 in the Hilton Branch. The event is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Attendees share tips and experiences with each other. There will be hands-on activities for youth. Homeschool meet-ups are held monthly on Tuesdays.
