Nutley merged the township sewer bill with the water bill on Jul. 1 to charge property owners based on water usage. Previously, Nutley property owners paid the sewer utility in the municipal tax bill based on individually assessed property value, regardless of water consumption. New sewer charges will be issued quarterly.
