Bloomfield residents are in N.J.’s 34th legislative district, where state senate and assembly seats are up for election in 2023. The Jersey Bee and other local news publishers collaborated to compile candidate Q&As for these and other races. In-person early voting for the 2023 general election will be held from Oct. 28 to Nov. 5. Essex County residents can access their district’s ballot at any of the county’s 10 early voting locations. Early voting centers will be located in Bloomfield, East Orange, Fairfield, Irvington, Verona, West Orange, and Newark. Add to 📅.

Bloomfield’s Municipal Clerk has issued an update about in-person polling locations for the 2023 general election in November for Ward One, District 3, and District 12 voters. They will be voting in a different room at the Bloomfield Public Library due to children’s library elevator being inoperable. Signage will be posted to direct voters during in-person voting.
