The Jersey Bee is hiring an associate civic info producer for a six-month contract. The Jersey Bee recently expanded its service area to include Irvington, Maplewood, the Oranges, Newark, and the Greater Bloomfield area. Its seeking someone from Essex County to help produce daily news and information coverage for the region. Applications can be submitted online and are due Oct. 27.

Registration is open for The Writers Circle’s fall 2023 writing and storytelling workshops on Saturdays. Classes are for children in grades 1-12 at South Orange Performing Arts Center.
