Bloomfield home and school associations, or HSAs, are nonprofit organization run by a board of parents/caregivers that brings together parents/caregivers, teachers, and administrators of the school to foster a community around their school.

How do Bloomfield’s home and school associations work?

Each of Bloomfield’s 11 schools has its own home and school association. HSAs work throughout the school year to coordinate class parents and host fundraisers for student programming like holiday parties, book fairs, school assemblies, graduation celebrations, and scholarships.

How can I get involved in a Bloomfield HSA?

Bloomfield home and school associations require parent or caregiver members to pay dues at the start of each school year. Members are also usually required to volunteer their time at events during or after school hours or provide supplies for events throughout the year. 

Bloomfield HSAs hold regular meetings throughout the year to discuss planning and fundraising and coordinate events with school staff and administration.
