Eviction prevention hotline

New Jersey residents can access free eviction prevention resources from Ironbound Community Corporation by completing ICC’s intake form. ICC is a Newark-based community organization providing housing support, youth programs, advocacy opportunities, and senior support A housing justice advocate will be in contact within one business day.

You can also call ICC’s housing hotline at 908-316-7899. Be prepared to share your name, address, phone number, and a short description of what you need help with, and what language you need assistance in.

The ICC’s community-run housing hotline connects residents with housing resources, including tenant rights, legal support, and shelter services. Since its launch, the organization has served more than 200 residents across the state with housing assistance. Read more about how it works here.

Essex-Newark Legal Services
