West Orange Downtown Alliance July 2025 David Cassidy Historical Marker and Celebration

West Orange Downtown Alliance will celebrate former resident and actor David Cassidy on Jul. 30-31. There will be a historical marker and street renaming dedication in honor of Cassidy on Jul. 30 at 10 a.m. at Colgate Field. On Jul. 31, photographer Henry Diltz will share his experiences with Cassidy during a Q&A at the Elks Club, 424 Main St., at 1:15 p.m. The Q&A is free for West Orange library cardholders and $15 for general sale. Tickets available by email. A ’70s-themed block party will follow from 5-8 p.m. at Franklin Avenue and Main Street.
