Luminary decorating party for families planned by South Orange-Maplewood Community Coalition on Race on Jan. 12 in South Orange. South Orange Mayor Sheena Collum will co-lead the event at 2 p.m. at Baird Community Center. Luminaries will be displayed at the organization’s Jan. 20 event honoring Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy. Registration is required.
