South Orange-Maplewood Community Coalition on Race to host “Coming to Jersey: Black Families Share Their Stories” on Feb. 11 in Maplewood. The event, scheduled from 1-4 p.m. at the Woodland Parlor, 60 Woodland Rd., in Maplewood. The event will feature South Orange and Maplewood residents sharing how their families came to New Jersey. It will include genealogy, photos, oral storytelling, and conversation with the audience. Preregistration is required.
