Newark sustainability and Solar One plan “Emergency Preparedness” pop-up on May 18 in the East Ward. Participants will explore their ward’s emergency preparedness hub from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Down Bottoms Farms, 371-395 Ferry St. The hub includes a solar-powered charger built by Newark High School interns. There will be free food, music, and giveaways. Registration required.
