Author talk and writing workshop with Suresh U. Kumar planned at Newark library on May 12 at the Main Branch. The writing workshop is from 5:30-6:15 p.m. and will focus on essay-writing for college and high school students. The talk will follow at 6:30 p.m. Kumar will discuss “The Girl in Scarlet Hijab.” Registration is not required. Free admission.
