Newark July 2025 Tax Revaluation Town Hall: North Ward

Newark residents can learn about property tax revaluations during a town hall with Newark’s tax assessment team on Jul. 28 in the North Ward. A revaluation assesses the property taxes of a home based on the home’s market price. It attempts to remove inequities that affect property taxes, such as location, zoning changes, and economic changes. The town hall begins at 6 p.m. at Newark School of Fashion and Design. Questions are welcome.
