Newark plans “Newark360 Master Plan: East Ward Community Meeting” on Jan. 23. Mayor Mayor Ras J. Baraka and East Ward Council Member Michael Silva will discuss changes to the ward’s land use and zoning regulations at 7 p.m. at Mt. Carmel Church. It will cover new housing developments, home-based business opportunities, and affordable homeownership.
