Newark 2025 St. Patrick’s Day Parade Rescheduled

Newark’s annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade for 2025 is rescheduled to Mar. 21. The parade will begin at 1 p.m. at Prudential Center and will feature the annual high school band competition. Winners of the band competition will be awarded outside Kilkenny Alehouse, 27 Central Ave. The parade was originally planned for Mar. 14 and is being postponed because a Newark police officer was fatally shot on Mar. 7.
