Essex County residents can order a compost bin and rain barrel by Apr. 12. Compost bins and rain barrels keeps trash from entering landfill and reduces water costs. Orders must be picked up by Apr. 13 from the Essex County Environmental Center, Maplewood Town Hall, or Down Bottom Farms. Orders accepted online.
