Bloomfield animal shelter plans cat adoption event on Oct. 8 at Brookdale Pet Center in Bloomfield from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Adoption fees will be waived for all cats and adopters can get pre-approval by filling out an application by Oct. 6.
