Candidates running for Belleville’s mayoral seat will participate in a public debate on May 1. It begins at 6:30 p.m. at Belleville High School and is hosted by the Belleville Public Schools Parent Organization. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. Candidates are Mayor Michael Melham and Councilman Frank Vélez. Election day is May 12.
