Free book fair planned with Partnership for Maternal and Child Health of Northern NJ on Mar. 24 in Irvington. The event is scheduled for 3:30-4:30 p.m. at Unity Family Success Center of Irvington, 50 Union Ave. Open to all ages, preregistration is required.

Free virtual “Smart Homebuyer Workshop” planned by Urban League Essex County on Mar. 24-25. The event, scheduled from 5:30-8:30 p.m. each day, will feature workshops on mortgages, inspections, and financial planning. Preregistration is required.

Participants are required to create art from single-use plastic garbage. Team or individual projects are accepted. Prizes will be awarded. Register by Apr. 8.
