N.J. Black Empowerment Coalition 2026 Empowerment Awards

New Jersey Empowerment Awards is scheduled for Mar. 25 at the Newark Museum of Art. Hosted by the N.J. Black Empowerment Coalition. It begins at 6 p.m. and will honor Adenah Bayoh, Charles Boyer, Antoinette Miles, Marcia Hicks, Benjie Wimberly, and Sharonda Allen. Keynote speaker is Charles Coleman Jr. Tickets are $135 and available online for purchase. The Jersey Bee is a media sponsor of this event.
