Eligible N.J. families seeking financial assistance for childcare must apply to CCAP by Jul. 31

From New Jersey Department of Human Services.

Eligible N.J. families seeking financial assistance for childcare must submit applications to the state’s Child Care Assistance Program by Jul. 31. CCAP will not review or accept new applications starting Aug. 1 because of limited state funding, and future funding is not anticipated, according to the N.J. Department of Human Services. Children already enrolled in the program will continue to receive assistance until they are no longer eligible. Families can also seek assistance with nearby Head Start programs and free programs through the child’s school district, if available.
