Federal N.J. Judge Farbiarz ordered the release of Mahmoud Khali

From CBS News.

Federal N.J. Judge Michael Farbiarz ordered the release of Mahmoud Khalil from immigration detention on Jun. 20. Farbiarz said that evidence showed Khalil, a permanent U.S. resident and Columbia University graduate student, is not a flight risk or public danger. Federal immigration officers arrested Khalil on Mar. 8 and told him his green card will be revoked, claiming that his criticisms of Israel could undermine U.S. foreign policy. Khalil was detained in Louisiana for 104 days and did not face any criminal charges. He arrived in Newark Liberty International Airport on Jun. 21.
