Free fishing derby for youth under age 15 planned with Essex County parks on Jun. 11 in Newark. The event is from 5-7:30 p.m. at Branch Brook Park. Children are encouraged to bring their own fishing poles, bait, and chairs. There is no rain date. Prizes will be awarded.
