Maplewood residents express need for community area at DeHart Park

From The Village Green.

Attendees of a recent Maplewood meeting discussing DeHart Park expressed a need for a more balanced use between sports teams and the public. The $2.5 million park project includes two soccer fields, improved drainage, and replacing the softball field with grass. Walking paths, lighting, playground, and sports courts are unchanged. Maplewood Township Committee will vote on the field concept on Apr. 15.
