Prenatal breastfeeding class planned by Perinatal Health Equity Initiative on Nov. 13 in East Orange. The class is from 6-7:30 p.m. at 280 S. Harrison St. It is recommended for people who are at 32-26 weeks in their pregnancy. Attendees are encouraged to bring a support person. Fee is $50.

Montclair Emergency Services for Hope seeks new undergarment donations. Women’s and men’s undergarments are needed in medium and large sizes. Donations accepted through the organization’s Amazon Wishlist. Drop-off requests accepted by email.

Luminary Gala planned by AAPI-N.J. on Nov. 15 in Cedar Grove. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. at The Grove, 691 Pompton Ave. All patrons will receive a copy of “Connie: A Memoir” by Connie Chung, who will be in attendance. Proceeds support the organization’s statewide education, advocacy, and community initiatives. Tickets available online.

Open house event of The Greenway project planned by N.J. environmental protection and NJ Transit on Nov. 13 in Newark. Project updates are from 6-8 p.m. at Park Elementary School. Spanish interpretation available. The Greenway is a nine-mile former rail line through Essex and Hudson Counties that will be converted into a park with safe paths for commuters and recreational use. The Newark section will span 0.8 miles from Branch Brook Park to Broadway and is expected by 2025.
