
Montclair African American Heritage Foundation to host a parade and festival on Jun. 1. The parade begins at 10:30 a.m. on the corner of Maple and Bloomfield Avenues. It will end on Cedar Avenue with a high school “Battle of the Bands” performance. The festival begins at 1 p.m. at Nishuane Park and will include food, games, and merchandise for sale. A festival rain date is scheduled for Jun. 2. The parade is rain or shine.
