Bloomfield Recreation “About Face: Current Themes in Black Portraiture” Opening Reception

Bloomfield recreation to host an opening reception for the art gallery “About Face: Current Themes in Black Portraiture” on Feb. 1. The event, scheduled from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Bloomfield Civic Center, will include live music, light refreshments, and the opportunity to meet the artists. Featured artists are Sy Battle, Lizette Louis, Ron Powell, Kassaye Selassie, and Papa Gora Tall. The gallery will be open for viewing throughout February.
