Montclair health department seeks community survey responses to inform opioid misuse and abuse prevention programing funded by state’s legal settlement with opioid manufacturers and pharmacies. The survey is open to anyone who lives, works, or goes to school in Montclair. All responses will remain confidential.

Montclair Center to host 2023 “Small Business Saturday and Winter Wonderland” Nov. 25. The event starts at 12:30 p.m. at the Wellmont Arts Plaza. It will include a holiday market, children’s crafts, carolers, raffles, festive holiday photo stations, and a tree lighting at 6 p.m. Add to 📅.

U.S. Department of Agriculture’s “plant hardiness zone map” shows 2.5 degree Fahrenheit warming trend across U.S. in last 11 years. New Jersey gardeners are more likely to experience warmer extreme minimum temperatures, changing which plants can be grown outdoors. Essex County has warmed by one zone, with extreme minimum temperatures up to 10 degrees warmer.
