Mental Health Association plans “Photo Voice: Moments in Time” art exhibit reception on Nov. 2. The event is from 5-7 p.m. at Montclair Public Library. The art exhibit will feature photography from local residents who participated in a workshop over the summer to capture their experiences of time, acceptance, freedom, and possibilities. The art will be on display at the library until Nov. 28 Add to 📅.

Belleville public schools seeks vendors for the district’s 2023 Holiday market and Santa Sing-along on Dec. 16. Applications will be accepted by email until Nov. 10. Add to 📅.

Nutley Historic Preservtion Committee plans “Historic Home Series of Nutley” on Nov. 2. The event is at 7:30 p.m. at the Nutley Museum at 65 Church St. Light refreshments will be served and museum exhibits will be available before the presentation. Add to 📅.

Associated Humane Society Newark Branch plans “Santa Paws Pet Photo Fundraiser” on Nov. 4. The event will be from 12-4 p.m. For a $20 fee, pets will have a 10-minute photo session with Santa. All proceeds for the event will go towards caring for shelter animals. Photos will be sent via email and uploaded on the shelter’s Facebook. Rutgers Law School plans to revive and expand women’s rights legal clinic founded in 1970s by U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. The school is using a charitable donation to re-establish the office at its Newark campus and launch an extension in Camden.
