Main Street Alliance and The New Jersey Economic Development Authority plans free in-person small business grants program workshop on Nov. 1. The event will be at 6 p.m. at InSpira Performing Arts at Teachers Village in Newark. Preregistration is required. Add to 📅.

Newark-based Prudential is accepting applications from U.S. residents age 14-18 with innovative solutions to community problems for its 2023 Emerging Visionaries program. Applications are due Nov. 2 to qualify for up to $15K and professional development to implement their idea.

Newark Happening plans “Dia De Los Muertos Night Market” at Harriet Tubman Square Park on Nov. 1. The event is from 4-9 p.m. The market will include food vendors, live entertainment, artisan stalls, and an “altar de muertos.” Add to 📅.

Preregistration is required for all service and time slot selection is required for Real ID appointments.
