Bloomfield’s farmers market is open Jun. 30 at Bloomfield library’s courtyard. It is open every Tuesday from 3:30-6:30 p.m. through Oct. 27.
Bloomfield Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Affairs Department
Bloomfield and Newark school districts received $160,000 and $400,000 in grants to support tutoring. The grants were provided by the N.J. Department of Education. They are meant to support students learning English language arts and math.

Gov. Mikie Sherrill seeks community feedback as the state renames the Essex-Hudson Greenway, a nearly nine-mile former rail line that connects Essex and Hudson Counties. Residents can pick one of four names: Prosperity State Park, Ridge adn River State Park, Ironline State Park, and Steel Trail State Park. Votes are accepted online until 4 p.m. on Jun. 29. Add to 📅.
