Bloomfield residents and businesses can apply to the township’s Blooming Bloomfield Awards, which recognizes gardens, landscaping, and green spaces in the area. Registration is open online until Jul. 15.

Human Needs Food Pantry seeks book donations for children and youth. Books must be in excellent condition. Accepted items include picture books, early readers, chapter books, graphic novels, and young adult titles. Books can be purchased through the organization’s Amazon Wishlist.

Recipients of WIC and Seniors Farmers’ Market Nutrition Programs can use their cash benefits at participating farmers markets through Nov. 30. Eligible WIC recipients will receive $30 and eligible seniors will receive $50 that can go towards fruits, vegetables and herbs. A list of participating farmers markets is available when electronic benefits are released.
