Montclair State University will operate NJ PBS starting Jul. 1. The college was selected from a pool of four bidders after WNET announced it will no longer manage the broadcasting network. The agreement is for five years with two five-year extensions, and requires the college to program four NJ PBS stations as well as live election coverage. The state legislature has 15 days to review a control between NJ PBS Authority and Montclair State University.
