Newark residents can attend a public hearing about the school district’s new elementary school, Riverfront, on Mar. 25. It begins at 5 p.m. at Lafayette Street School. Riverfront Elementary School will replace the former St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church building. The hearing will focus on school overcrowding in the East Ward.
