Eligible Newark residents can apply for public housing

Eligible Newark residents can apply for public housing through Newark Housing Authority’s online portal. Application status updates will be delivered within 6-8 weeks of applying. Eligible applicants must have an annual income that does not exceed 80% of the area median income for Newark, or $97,800 for a four-person household. Additional eligibility requirements are available online.
