We Start Here, a SOMA-based nonprofit, seeks immigrant storytellers for its “Stories Without Borders” event, scheduled for May 26. All proceeds from the event will benefit Make the Road NJ to support immigrant rights advocacy and legal aid for N.J. families. Funds will support people who are cannot access designated prayer spaces for Salat, Halal meals and other food accommodations, and essential items for worship. Donations accepted online until Feb. 15 and must include a caption stating “Ramadan at Delaney.”
