Free health screenings, employment services, food available at “Project Homeless Connect Day” Jan. 28

“Project Homeless Connect Day” planned with Essex County on Jan. 28 in Newark. The event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Essex County College gymnasium. There will be free health screenings, haircuts, public assistance, and food. Attendees can also learn about free programs for youth, veterans, victims of domestic violence, employment resources, and senior services.
