Eligible pregnant people in N.J. can apply to receive up to $20K under Bridge Project program

Eligible pregnant people in N.J. can apply to receive up to $20,000 over three years through a program run by The Bridget Project, an organization that aims to end childhood poverty. Applications opened Oct. 1 and monthly payments will begin Nov. 1. Applicants must be 18+, earn a household income below $44,000, 23 weeks pregnant or less, live in Newark, Trenton, Paterson or Gloucester, Salem, or Cumberland counties. Social Security number or ITIN is not required. A total of 250 applicants will be selected at random. Applications are available online.
